In January of '05, Hussard of McKeesport PA was kind enough to discuss a tragic incident which had recently occur'd on a dark Virginia country road involving mounted cavalry re-enactors in training and an automobile motorist.
I became riveted to the thread which I found enter'd on the "On the Picket Line" section.
When I went back to it a few hours later, I had to look a bit before I was able to located it again. Whenever I can't lay my hands on something I had looked at just a few hours earlier I usually start up my mental filing system to ask where I might place it so that the next time I need it I can find it a little easier. Therefore, if I may be so bold as to suggest... I propose that Hussard's excellent post be either transfer'd to and/or copied to the "Training & Tactics" area and see that a new header be done up to reflect a most vital aspect of re-enactor training ... "safety"......
"Training, Safety & Tactics" might be develop as a new header please?
